Rigid Polyurethane spray insulation is a plural component Polymeric coating are seamless, monolithic, highly rigid that are resistant to water, moisture and chemicals/solvents etc.
Coating shows good adhesion to a variety of substrates including Primed steel, Aluminium and concreate.
Advantages of using Rigid Polyurethane foam spray insitu for over deck insulation:
- Light weight because the foam density is in the range of 40-50 Kg./M3 Adaptability to irregular surfaces allowing complete filling and sealing.
- No drilling or breaking of concrete is required, as it is applied by High pressure machine by spray method.
- The system requires a curing time of only two seconds. Foot traffic can be restored within 30 seconds after spray of insulation on horizontal surfaces and project completion will be faster.
- Easy maintenance and repair.
- Suitable mechanical properties in particular compressive resistance of 280 kpa for foam in the density range of 40-50 Kg./M3
- The system provides jointless insitu insulation and hence the 'R' value is higher than any other conventional insulation and having lowest K value of 0.018 Kcal/m.hr.deg.C among all insulation materials.
- Meets the Green buildings requirement of 'R' value economically and cost effectively.
- The material is on-affected by moistures, water and it has excellent resistance to chemicals/solvents
